The artist about herself:

In 1988 I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. I studied painting under the supervision of Prof. Jan Świtka.

I mainly paint in oil, occasionally in pastels and watercolours combined with mixed techniques. I would describe my creative work with one word: emotional. I like building moods with colour or sometimes lack thereof. If I am able to paint something that could be described as ‘an air of mystery’, it is when I touch upon the goal of my endeavours.

My other passion is interior design, which I have worked with professionally since 2005. I can see a lot in common between painting and design, and this is why I have so much pleasure in doing both.
