Hanna Karasińska-Eberhardt

She graduated from the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, in Prof. Tadeusz Dominik’s studio. She defended her diploma work under supervision of Prof. Stefan Gierowski. The very high marks she earned for her diploma work contributed to her being awarded a two-year creative scholarship by the Ministry of Art in 1984/1986. Her main preoccupation is easel painting in oil and mixed techniques as well as relief. Her works reiterate the two cycles of the sacred and the profane. In her painting, she reaches for the simplest means of expression. In 2012, she received a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. She has participated in exhibitions in Poland and abroad, and she has had more than a dozen individual exhibitions. More...
