Katarzyna Zygadlewicz graduated from the Faculty of Painting, Graphic and Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan (now the University of Arts). She debuted in the 1980s in the independent Polony Gallery. She is the author of the monumental banner paintings presented in a cycle of installations in churches and outdoors in Poland and Germany. She represented Poland twice at the days of Polish culture (Germany and the USA). In 2010 her painting was awarded a prize at the painting competition in the Republic of South Africa. Her paintings and drawings have been displayed at many exhibitions at home and abroad (Germany, Sweden, Spain, Italy and the USA).
